A Crazy Wedding Filled year! Thank you

With the end of the year coming around so quickly I thought I'd take a moment to say an extra special thank you to all the amazing couples that chose me as their wedding photographer or wedding videographer this year. I'd also like to say thank you to my awesome couples for nominating me for 'The Welsh Wedding Awards' - 'Videographer of the Year' 2018..

In this post I :

·      Say thank you to the amazing people I work with

·      Share a few Polaroid pictures from my own wedding

·      Post a handful of my favourite or Best South Wales Wedding Photos

·      Talk about some exciting news for any couples that get engaged over the festive period. Really worth checking out if you're engaged and looking for a wedding photographer or videographer

I absolutely love being an alternative Welsh Wedding Photographer and videographer, so it means a lot when my beautiful clients choose me to share their special day with them. I want every single one of you to know that it means a lot to me. I'd also like to thank the parents and families, bridesmaids and groomsmen and everyone else that I got to hang out with on the day whilst doing what I love the most; capturing absolute joy.

Not only was this year jam packed with lots of awesome weddings but I actually got married myself! I thought that I would share some of the Polaroid pictures (actually it's a Fujifilm camera but you get what I mean) from my wedding. Keep on reading for that exciting news for couples getting engaged over the festive period.

I didn't think about it before, but after chatting with a couple of brides and grooms from the latest weddings I actually offered to bring it along and shoot a pack or two throughout the day in addition to my digitals. I just think that it's a nice touch, and also I let couples borrow the camera for their guest signing book in the evening. The cameras are quite expensive now and a lot of people buy them to use at their wedding and then don't really use them again. So I thought why not be helpful and save my couples over a hundred quid it also means they can get some cool Polaroid keepsakes too.

My Best Man Dave, and Poppy. He did a stella job of organising things and didn't roast me too much with his speech.

All of the guests half way through the wedding reception party at the Kymin. I love this photo it just feels cosy.

With no more weddings left to shoot this year and having shot two festive/Christmas weddings back to back this December I wanted to just quickly share a handful of my favourite different images. (They're just a handful of images that spring to mind, I've still got a few weddings left to edit for this year so it's not like a best of list). Here are some of my favourites which I have yet to put into the gallery. Something I will be sure to do soon ready for 2018 weddings.

I was lucky enough to shoot Danielle and Neil's wedding at the Orangery in Margam as well as her sister Kelsey at the St Donats Castle. I see so many people twice !

Catherine and Connor having 5 mins alone after their wedding ceremony at St Donat's Castle ; Atlantic College South Wales

Sarah and Derek chilling in between the ceremony and reception at their 'Old Post Office',  St Fagans wedding.

One of the many engagement shoot photos that I need to upload to the gallery. Damien and Chloe were great, we chased the sunset down over 'The Knap' beach in Barry, South Wales.

Last but not least I have some exciting news for any couples that are lucky enough to have gotten engaged over the festive period.
